Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses in July 2016

In July 2016 compared to July 2015, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses decreased (by 29.2% and the net decreased weight by 30.1%). The total number of slaughtered sheep decreased (by 24.3% and net weight decreased by 24.9%), pigs decreased (by 61.7% and net weight of 86.2%) compared to the same period in 2015.
 
In comparison with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered cattle decreased by 2.4% (net weight by 1.7%). As far as sheep’s, the total number of slaughtered animals is bigger by 58.4% ( net weight of 54.5%), total number of pigs is bigger by 15.6% ( a net weight bigger of 7.7%).
 
Compared to the monthly average in 2015, in July 2016, less cattle slaughtered in total (by 6.6% a net weight of 2.5%), sheep total less (by 11.5% and net weight of 16.2%) and pigs less (by 79.1% and net weight of 88.3%).
 

The number of slaughtered poultry decreased by 10.3%, a net weight decreased by 9.1% compared with the same month last year. Compared with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered poultryis the same, while compared to the actual monthly average in 2015, the number of slaughtered poultry decreased by (3.8%, the net weight decreased of 3.2%).
