The total number of social protection beneficiaries in Montenegro 2012 was 48 540, of which 44.2% of minors, and 55.8% of adult beneficiaries of social protection.
In 2012, the number of minor beneficiaries of social protection was 21 459 representing a decrease of
9.2% in comparison with 2011. The gender structure of minor beneficiaries of social protection is the following: there are 49.2% of female persons, and 50.8% of male persons.
The number of adult beneficiaries of social protection was 27 081, i.e. there was a decrease of 3.7% in comparison with 2011.
The highest number of minor beneficiaries of social protection in Montenegro, i.e. 53.1% is possessed by Centre for Social Work Podgorica (for municipalities: Podgorica, Cetinje, Danilovgrad, and Kolasin), then 16.1% possessed by Centre for Social Work Niksic (for municipalities: Niksic, Pluzine, and Savnik).
Of the total adult beneficiaries of social protection, there are 31.2% possessed by Centre for Social Work Podgorica, and 22.2% by Centre for Social Work Rozaje.
