Total number of enrolled students in basic studies, in winter semester of academic year 2012/2013 was 22 279, which is for 0.23% more, comparing to last year's winter semester. The share of female students is 53.3%.
Of total number of enrolled students, the most of them are at the University of Montenegro, i.e. 81.9%.
Comparing to last academic year, the number of enrolled students shows decrease for 14.7% at University Mediteran, 0.7% at University of Montenegro and Other higher education institutions for 14.1%. While it shows increase for about 56% at the University Donja Gorica.
