Total agricultural production in Montenegro in 2011 compared to the previous year increased by 9.5% because of increasing crop production by 2.7% and 19.9% for livestock.
In crop production, there has been a significant increase in the production of potatoes, carrots, maize, oats,fodder maize, plums, apples and pears. In livestock production, production of cow and ewe milk and accrual of sheep and pigs, increased significantly.
From total agricultural production in 2011, share of crop production is 56.6% and 43.4% of livestock production.
