Industrial production in Montenegro in May increased 4.0% compared to same month of the previous year while it decrease 17.7% compared to average monthly production from previous year, 25.9% compared with the previous month and 5.3% for period January-May 2012 compared with the same period of previousyear.
At the sector level, period January-May 2012 compared to the same period of the previous year, there was an increase in the production only in manufacturing 9.8%. while it decreased in two sectors: mining and quarrying 19.9% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply 23.8% for the observed period.
