In the third quarter of 2021 was increase in the slaughter of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro. Number of slaughtered cattle is 9 206 or 20.6 % more than in the third quarter of 2020. The net weight of slaughtered cattle in the third quarter of 2021 increased by 24.5%.
The total number of slaughtered sheep in the third quarter of 2021 increased increased by 8.1% (net weight increased by 5.4%). The total number of slaughtered pigs and weight increase, compared to the same quarter of 2020, while the total number of slaughtered poultry decreased by 8.1% (net weight decreased by 17.5%).
