In Montenegro, in October 2011, tourists realised 35 221 arrivals which is 22.7% more than in October 2010, while they made 138 516 overnight stays which is 11.6% more than in October 2010. Overnight stays of domestic tourists represent 23.2%, while the foreign tourists represent 76.8% of all overnight stays in October 2011. In the first ten months of this year, tourists realized 1 339 731 arrivals, which is 8.8% more compared to the same period last year, and 8 657 648 overnight stays which is 10.2% more compared to the same period last year. Number of overnight stays of domestic tourists decreased 2.5%, while the number of overnight stays of foreign tourists increased 12%.
Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists the most of them were realised by tourists from Russia (12.4%), Serbia (9.6%), Great Britain (6.4%), Germany (6.3%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (4.9%), Italy (4.5%), France (3.6%) and other countries.
Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (84.2%), in capital city (8.2%), in other tourist resorts (3.7%), in mountain resorts (3.6%) and otherresorts 85.2
