Industrial production in Montenegro in August decreased: 6.6% for period January-August 2011 compared to the same period in 2010, 12.0% compared to average monthly production from previous year, while it increased 18.0% compared to same month of the previous year, and it increased 1.0% compared to the previous month.    

At the section level, period January-August 2011 compared to the same period of the previous year, there was an increase in the production in two sections: mining and quarrying 2.7%, and manufacturing 12.1%, while electricity, gas, and water supply decreased 28.3 % for the observed period.
