Tourist arrivals and overnight stays in collective accommodation1 December 2017

In Montenegro, in December 2017 in collective accommodation (hotels, camping sites, tourist resorts, vacation facilities, boarding houses, motels, etc.) tourists realised 32.7% more arrivals than in December 2016.
The number of realised overnight stays is 33.2% higher than in December 2016. Overnight stays of foreign tourists represent 71.8% while the domestic tourists represent 28.2% of all overnight stays in collective accommodation in December 2017.
In 2017 in collective accommodation in Montenegro tourists realised 18.1% more arrivals and 10.5% more overnight stays than in 2016.
Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in December 2017, the most of them were realised by tourists from Albania (18.4%), Serbia (15.8%), Israel (9.0%), Croatia (6.0%), Turkey (5.9%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (5.5%), Russia (4.9%), Italy (4.4%). Tourists from other countries realised 30.1% overnight stays.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (54.8%), capital (23.0%), mountain resorts (13.3%) and in other tourist resorts (8.9%).
