Quarterly statistics of transport III quarter 2017

 Transport of passengers in the third quarter of 2017, compared to the same quarter of the previous year increased to road transport by 0.3%, local road for 0.8%, the carriage of passengers at airports by 13.7 % and non scheduled air for 26,5%, while the decrease registered in rail transport for 38,6% and in the scheduled air transport for 9,3%.

The transport of goods in the third quarter of 2017, compared to the same quarter last year increase was recorded in rail transport for 7.4%, decrease registered in transport of goods on the airports for 5.0%, while the total turnover of goods in ports was in the same level.
 
Number of trans-shipment tonnes in the ports in the third quarter of 2017, compared to the same quarter of the previous year increased by 26.6%, at the manipulated tonnes registered decreased by 5.3%.
 
Number of minutes in fixed telecommunication in the third quarter of 2017 compared to the same quarter of the previous year decreased by 19,2% at the minutes of mobile telephony registered increase by 2.5%.
 
Total number of injury accidents1 on roads in the third quarter 2017 totaled 1 709 which is 2.2% less than the same quarter of the 2016. Number of casualies in the third quarter 2017 amounted to 873 (of which 854 injuries), which is 1.5% more than the same quarter 2016.
 
Number of registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the third quarter 2017 is 60 136 which is a increase of 2.6% in comparison with the same quarter of previous year. Number of first time registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the third quarter 2017 is 5 524, which is a increase of 13.2% in comparison with the same quater of previous year.
 
In the third quarter of 2017 road goods motor vehicles transported a 216 thousands tons of goods and performed 29 784 thousand tonne-kilometers. Kilometres travelled by loaded vehicles was 1 368 thousands kilometres. In the structure of transported goods, national transport participates with 86.6% or 187 thousands tons of goods, while international transport participates with 13.4%, or 29 thousands tons of goods. In the structure of performed tonne-kilometers internal transport participates with 50.9% or 15 173 thousands tonne-kilometers and international transport with 49.1% or 14 611 thousands tonne-kilometers.
