Statistical Office of Montenegro- MONSTAT successfully finished one more phase of Census of Population –data capture. In order to have data that will be published on 15 July, produced using procedures and methodology of European Commission-EUROSTAT, MONSTAT introduced third shift, engaged 150 persons, and succeeded during 40 days to finish data capture. In the next period until publishing of results-15 July, it was planned the application of standard statistical procedure, created by EUROSTAT which will control the quality of methodology implementation. That means double capture of certain number of enumeration areas, comparison with post-census survey results with the aim of determination of the number of persons who will be identified as permanent inhabitants of Montenegro. Quality achievement as well as reliable methodology is in accordance with principles 4 and 7 of European Code of practice implementation of mentioned procedure and respecting principle 12 of Code will provide documentation of the accuracy of data capture. The results of implementation of statistical procedure will be certain quality measures, which are constituent part of report on census quality that all countries having conducted census in 2011 are, obliged to submit to Eurostat according to Regulation on census of population.
