Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses in June 2016

In June 2016 compared to June 2015, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses decreased (by 11.5% and the net decreased weight by 16%). The total number of slaughtered sheep decreased (by 28% and net weight decreased by 23.7%), pigs decreased (by 67.5% and net weight of 86.5%) compared to the same period in 2015.
 
In comparison with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered cattle decreased by 5.6 (net weight by 6%). As far as sheep’s, the total number of slaughtered animals is less by 0.5% ( net weight of 3%), total number of pigs is less by 8% ( a net weight bigger of 8.3%).
 
Compared to the monthly average in 2015, in June 2016, less cattle slaughtered in total (by 4.3% a net weight of 0.8%), sheep total less (by 44.1% and net weight of 45.8%) and pigs less (by 81.9% and net weight of 87.4%).
 

The number of slaughtered poultry decreased by 2.2%, a net weight decreased by 2% compared with the same month last year. Compared with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered poultry decreased (by 29.8% and net weight decreased of 33%), while compared to the actual monthly average in 2015, the number of slaughtered poultry decreased by (3.8%, the net weight decreased of 3.2%).
