In December 2015 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 1 984, ewes 3 025, pigs 2 370 and poultry 35 665.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 85% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
