In April 2015 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 1 740, ewes 2 032, pigs 634 and poultry 30 750.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 80.5% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
