In July 2014 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 2 412, ewes 2 819, pigs 216 and poultry 24 932.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 79% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
