MICS 2018
Within MICS 2018, a total of 3 826 households were interviewed at the country level, and additional 854 households in Roma settlements.
Data collected by the survey are used to assess Montenegro’s progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), implementing relevant national strategies, and fulfilling the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The findings show progress in certain areas compared to previous surveys, as well as areas that require further improvement.

In some of the published statistical overviews, certain technical errors were detected.
Additionally, some methodological changes were made at UNICEF’s request, and therefore revised versions have been published.

MICS 2013
The Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS 2013) in Montenegro, as well as the MICS 2013 survey in Roma settlements, were conducted in 2013 by Statistical Office of Montenegro - MONSTAT, with financial and technical support from UNICEF and the UN in Montenegro.
Both surveys - MICS 2013 in Montenegro and MICS 2013 for Roma settlements were a part of the fifth global round of MICS survey (MICS5).
