The number of injury accidents on roads in 2012 was 8 103, showing an decrease of 4.9% compared with 2011, when the number of accidents was 8 519.
Number of casualty in 2012 amounted to 1 768 (of which 1 722 injuries), which is 17.1% less compared with 2011, when the number of persons killed was 2 133.
