In Montenegro, in February 2012, tourists realised 11 791 arrivals which is 25.6% less than in February 2011, while they made 51 799 overnight stays which is 7.1% less than in February 2011. Overnight stays of domestic tourists represent 29.18%, while the foreign tourists represent 70.82% of all overnight stays in February 2012.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in February 2012, the most of them were realised by tourists from Serbia (19.1%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (12.5%), Russia (11.7%), Albania (4.6%), Macedonia (3.2%), Italy (2.6%), Croatia (2.5%). Tourists from other countries realised 43.8% overnight stays.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (78.2%), in capital city (10.9%), in other tourist resorts (5.5%), in mountain resorts and other resorts.
