Consumer price indices - June 2026


Prices of goods and services for personal consumption, measured by consumer price index, in June 2026, as compared to May 2026, increased by 0.4% on average. Consumer prices in June 2026, as compared to June 2025, increased by 3.6% on average. This was influenced mostly by increase in prices of: accommodation services; meat; milk, other dairy products and eggs; restaurants, cafés and the like; outpatient dental services; passenger transport by air; fruits and nuts; vegetables, tubers and pulses. Consumer prices in period January-June 2026 compared to the same period of previous year, were higher for 3.3% in average.

Observing the main groups by purpose of consumption, in June 2026 as compared to May 2026, monthly increase of prices was noticed in the following groups: Restaurants and accommodation services (3.3%); Health (1.9%); Food and non-alcoholic beverages (1.0%); Personal care, social protection and miscellaneous goods and services (0.5%); Alcoholic beverages and tobacco (0.2%); Information and communication (0.1%); Recreation, sport and culture (0.1%), while decrease of prices was recorded in the following groups: Clothing and footwear (-2.2%); Furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (-0.5%); Transport (-0.2%); Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (-0.1%).

Prices of other products and services mostly remained unchanged.
