In the second quarter of 2025 there was an decreased in the slaughter of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro. Number of slaughtered cattle is 7 380 or 2.8% less than in the second quarter of 2024. The net weight of slaughtered cattle in the second quarter of 2024 increased by 8.2%.
The total number of slaughtered sheep in the secondt quarter of 2025 increased by 0.7% compared to the second quarter 2024. The net weight of slaughtered sheep in the second quarter of 2025 increased by 0.4%.The total number of slaughtered pigs increased by 43.1% compared to the same quarter of 2024, while the total number of slaughtered poultry decreased by 40.9%.
