Primary production of coal in Montenegro in 2024 was 1 624.8 thousand tonnes of lignite.
Total final consumption of coal in 2024 was 20.1 thousand tonnes, 9.0 thousand tonnes consumed in industry, while 11.1 thousand tonnes consumed in other sectors. For electricity production, as transformation input was used 1 393.8 thousand tonnes of lignite.
