In the first quarter of 2025 there was an increased in the slaughter of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro. Number of slaughtered cattle is 7 327 or 0.2% more than in the first quarter of 2024. The net weight of slaughtered cattle in the first quarter of 2025 increased by 1.6%.
The total number of slaughtered sheep in the first quarter of 2025 decreased by 19.7% compared to the first quarter 2024. The net weight of slaughtered sheep in the first quarter of 2025 decreased by 15.1%.The total number of slaughtered pigs increased by 48.6% compared to the same quarter of 2024, while the total number of slaughtered poultry increased by 40.4%.
