The number of business entities in Montenegro in 2024 was 58 998, which compared to 2023 when there were 54 094, expressed in percentage, represents an increase of 9.1%.
The highest number of active business entities in 2024 was recorded in Podgorica, the capital (20 953), what makes 35.52% out of the total number. The lowest number was recorded in the municipality Petnjica, where 44 entities operate, representing 0.07% of the total number of active business entities.
