Entrance of raw milk and obtained milk products - I quarter 2022

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro in the first quarter of 2022 is 5 871 908 kg and recorded an decrease of 7.2% compared to the same quarter in 2021.
The average content of milk fat in the first quarter of 2022, compared to the first quarter 2021 decreased by 4.1% while the protein average content decreased by 4.6%.
In the first quarter 2022, compared to the same quarter of 2021, increase was recorded in production of cream (by 5.1%) and cheese (by 8.3%), while decrease production of traditional butter (by 21.7%), fermented dairy products (by 5.2%) and drinking milk (by 15.6%).
