In Montenegro in August 2020, in collective accommodation (camping sites, tourist resorts, vacation facilities, boarding houses, motels, etc.) tourists realised 72.7% less arrivals compared to August 2019.

The number of realised overnight stays decreased by 73.2% compared to the same month last year.

Overnight stays of foreign tourists represent 68.5% while the domestic tourists represent 31.5% of all overnight stays in collective accommodation in August 2020.

In the first eight months of 2020, there were 77.9% less arrivals and 80.9% less tourist overnight stays than in the same period last year. Concerning the structure of overnight stays by types of resorts in August 2020, the most of them were recorded in seaside resorts (92.3%), in mountain resorts (3.4%), the capital (2.1%) and other tourist resorts (2.1%).
