Entrance of row cow’s milk and obtained products into the dairies July 2020

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro in July 2020 compared to July 2019, decreased by 1.8%. Compared with the previous month, purchased cow's milk decreased by 2%.

The content of milk fat in July 2020 compared to July 2019 increased by 0.3%, while the protein content increased by 3.6%. Compared with the previous month content of milk fat increased by 0.9%, while the protein content decreased by 1.6%.

In July 2020 compared to the same period in 2019, recorded decrease in production of drinking milk (by 8.6%), cream (by 19.2%), fermented dairy products (by 4%), cream (traditional cream by 13.6%) and cheese (by 18.2%).

In July 2020 compared with the previous month, increase was recorded in production of drinking milk (by 4.5%), cream (by 4%) and production of fermented dairy products (by 33.1%), while decreased production of cream (traditional cream by 13.2%) and cheese (by 19.4%).

In the period from January to July 2020, the total quantity of cow's milk purchased was 16 890 695 kg and there was an increase of 4.9% compared to the same period in 2019.
