Entrance of row cow’s milk and obtained products into the dairies August 2018

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro in August 2018 compared to August 2017, increased by 9.2%. Compared with the previous month, purchased milk decreased by 2.8%.

The content of milk fat in August 2018 compared to August 2017 decreased by 3%, while the protein decreased by 0.8%. Compared with the previous month content of milk fat is increased by 2.9% and protein increased by 1.5%.
In August 2018 compared to the same period in 2017 recorded an increase production of cream (by 4.2%), fermented dairy products (by 13.6%), cream (traditional cream by 11.9%) and cheese (by 23.9%), but decreased was in production of drinking milk (by 5.5%).
In August 2018 compared with the previous month, bigger production was of fermented dairy products (by 11.2%) and production of cheese (by 38.1%), but decreased was in production of drinking milk (by 9.7%), cream (by 7.1%) and cream (traditional cream by 5%).
In the period from January to August 2018, the total quantity of cow's milk purchased was 19 204 585 kg and there was an increase of 12.3% compared to the same period in 2017.
