At the sector level the average earnings without taxes and contributions (net) in August 2018 compared to July 2018 increased in the following sectors: Profesional, scientific and tehnical activities (4.0%), Accommodation and food service activities (4.0%), Manufacturing (3.7%), Education (2.5%), Agriculture, forestry and fishing (1.8%), Transportation and storage (1.6%), Wholesale and retail trade (1.4%), Public administration and defence, compulsory social security (1.2%), Electrity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (0.9%), while there were a decrease in the following sectors: Other service activities (6.4%), Real estate activities (2.2%), Information and communication (2.0%), Human health and social work activities (1.8%), Financial and insurance activities (1.0%), Arts, entertainment and recreation (0.9%), Construction (0.6%), Mining and quarrying (0.6%), Water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (0.4%) and Administrative and support service activities (0.3%).
