In July 2018 compared to the same month last year, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro, increasing 15.7% (net weight increase of 3.4%). In sheep, pigs and poultry also was a increase in the total number of slaughtered animals compared to the same month last year.

 

As compared to the previous month, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro increased by 7.3% (net weight increased of 6.4%). Increased was on total number of slaughtered sheep, but decrease was on total number of slaughtered pigs. The total number of slaughtered poultry is increased by 4.5% (net weight increased by 2.9%).

 

In the period from January to July 2018 was increase in the slaughter of cattle. Number of slaughtered cattle is 17 298 or 26.8% more than in the same period of 2017. Increase is also present in sheep, pigs and poultry.
