This release presents the data on passenger and goods transport by road and air, passenger transport by sea, as well as data on postal and telecommunication services.
Number of passengers used transport in August 2011 compared with the same period of previous year decreased in road transport 12.9%, by rail transport 32% and city transport 2.3%, while an increase is noticed in air transport 5.7%.
Transport of goods in August 2011 compared with the same period of previous year decreased in air transport 82.5%, road transport 50%, as well as transport by sea 32.6%. while an increase is noticed in rail transport 3.4%.
The port traffic in August 2011 compared with the same period of previous year increased 4.4%.
Number of minutes spent in the fixed telecommunications in August 2011 compared with the same period of previous year increased for 33.2%, as well as number of minutes spent in the mobile telecommunication for 60.5%.
