Average wages, June 2011


The average wage (gross) in June 2011 in Montenegro was 708 Euros , while average wage without taxes and contribution was (net) was  475 Euros. Comparing to  May 2011  average wages without taxes and contributions (net) in June  2011 decreased by 0,8%. The average wage without taxes and contributions (net) in June 2011 comparing to the same month of previous year increased by 0,4%, while comparing to the average monthly wage without taxes and contributions in 2010 it decreased by 0,8%.
By  activities the average wages without contributions and taxes in June 2011 comparing to previous month increased in following sectors: manufacturing industry (3,8%), Hotels and  restaurants (2,8%), Transport, storage and connections  (2,6%), Real estate and renting business  (1,9%),Construction (1,8%), Health and social work (1,7%), Other communal and personal  services (0,7%) and  Public administration and  social insurance  (0.6%).

There was decrease in following sectors :retail trade and wholesale trade (0,9%), education (1,3%), Financial intermediation (1,6%), production of electric energy, gas and  water  (2,5%), agriculture, forestry and water management (7,4%), mining and quarrying   (9,6%), fishery(15,1%) .Considering that consumption prices in June  2011comparing to May  2011 decreased by 0,5%, it comes out that real net wages in Montenegro in June 2011 comparing to May 2011 decreased by 0,3%.
