In July 2015 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 2 479, ewes 3 650, pigs 386 and poultry 35 937.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 82% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
