In September 2014 the total number of slaughtering bovines in slaughterhouses was 2 018, ewes 7 536, pigs 394 and poultry 32 231.
Of the total number of slaughtering heads of bovines, 83.2% share calves and young cattle up to one year old, while number of slaughtering ewes sharing lambs with 100% and poultry, broilers sharing with 100%.
