The release comprises selected statistical data on the quantity of collected municipal waste, equipment and machinery in 2012.

In Montenegro, collected 279 667 tons of waste including the subgroup 1501 – Packaging (including separately collected municipal waste in packaging) in 2012. Taking into account the estimated the number of inhabitants in mid-year, were collected 1.23 kg waste per capita in the 2012 year, which is 6.1% less compared to the 2011 year when he collected 1.31 kg waste per capita.

In 2012, 74.04% of the Montenegrin population used the services of public utilities in municipal waste. Total employment in utilities to the Registry for the local government granted permission to perform the public service of collection and disposal of municipal waste in 2012 was 2 296 employees.

Compared with the 2011 year for 3 days decreased the average number of days in which the collected waste the in 2012 year.
