This release presents the data on passengers and goods carried in railway transport, road transport, air transport, traffic of goods in ports, traffic of passengers and goods at the airports, as well as data on postal and telecommunication services.
Number of passengers carried in 2011 compared with previous year, 2010, decreased in railway transport by 8.3%, but it increased in road transport by 0.5%, in local transport by 23.4%, as in air transport by 4.4%.
Number of goods transported in 2011 compared with 2010, decreased in railway transport 13.4%, in road transport 32.2%, in air transport 50.2%, and in maritime transport 36.5%. In 2011, compared with 2010, there is indicated an increase of 11.4% in fixed telecommunication minutes spent, and 42.9% within mobile telecommunication minutes spent.
