Primary production of electricity in Montenegro in 2019 was 1 916.8 GWh, transformation output was 1 390.1 GWh. Total import of electricity was 1 195.5 GWh and total export was 942.9 GWh. Consumption of the energy branch was 128.7 GWh and distribution losses 492.9 GWh.
Total final consumption of electricity in 2019 was 3 054.2 GWh. The highest ratio in total consumption of electricity was in households 42.2%, in other sectors 34.9% and industrial activities 22.9%.
