Entrance of row cow’s milk and obtained products into the dairies August 2020

The total quantity of purchased cow's milk, by dairies in the territory of Montenegro in August 2020 compared to August 2019, decreased by 3.5%. Compared with the previous month, purchased cow's milk increased by 0,1%.

The content of milk fat in August 2020 compared to August 2019 increased by 6.3%, while the protein content increased by 1.5%. Compared with the previous month content of milk fat increased by 5.1%, while the protein content is the same.

In August 2020 compared to the same period in 2019, increase was recorded in production of fermented dairy products (by 4.3%), while decreased production of drinking milk (by 26.3%), cream (by 28.6%), cream (traditional cream by 18.2%) and cheese (by 18.4%).

In August 2020 compared with the previous month, increase was recorded in production of fermented dairy products (by 0.2%) and cheese (by 10.2%), while decreased production of drinking milk (by 19.5%), cream (by 7%) and cream (traditional cream by 4%).

In the period from January to August 2020, the total quantity of cow's milk purchased was 19 420 027 kg and there was an increase of 3.7% compared to the same period in 2019.
