In July 2020 compared to the same month last year, the total number of slaughter cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro, decreasing 21.4% (net weight decrease of 14.4%). Decrease was on total number of slaughtered sheep and pig compared to the same month of the previous year. The total number of slaughtered poultry it is decreased.

As compared to the previous month, the total number of slaughter cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro increased by 4.1% (net weight increased of 5.7%). Increase was on total number of slaughtered sheep compared to the previous month, while total number of slaughtered pigs is decreased. The total number of slaughtered poultry is increased by 49.1% (net weight increased by 48.6%).

In the period from January to July 2020 was decrease in the slaughter of cattle. Number of slaughtered cattle is 17 303 or 0.3% less than in the same period of 2019. Decrease in slaughter for the same period is present in sheep, pigs and poultry.
