Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses in March 2017
In March 2017 compared to the same month last year, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro, increasing 31.6% (net weight increase of 45.1%). In sheep was a decrease in the total number of slaughtered animals, compared to the same month last year, while in pigs and poultry there was an increase in the slaughter.
As compared to the previous month, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses in Montenegro increased by 14.9 % (net weight increase of 17.2%). In sheep and pigs, there was also increase in the total number of slaughtered animals. The total number of slaughtered poultry is increased by 5.9% (net weight decreased by 10.1%).
