Livestock slaughtering in slaughterhouses in October 2016

In October 2016 compared to October 2015, the total number of cattle in slaughterhouses decreased (by 10.9% and the net decreased weight by 6.6%). The total number of slaughtered sheep increased (by 14.4% and net weight increased by 20.3%), pigs increased (by 24.6% and net weight of 37.5%) compared to the same period in 2015.
 
In comparison with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered cattle decreased by 0.5% (net weight increased by 1.3%). As far as sheep’s, the total number of slaughtered animals is bigger by 222.5% (net weight of 240.3%), total number of pigs is bigger by 167.8% (a net weight bigger of 117.4%).
 
Compared to the monthly average in 2015 with October 2016, less cattle slaughtered in total (by 16.4% a net weight less by 10.1%), sheep total bigger (by 204.7% and net weight of 220.1%) and pigs less (by 14% and net weight of 64.3%).
 

The number of slaughtered poultry increased by 23.8%, a net weight increased by 19.5% compared with the same month last year. Compared with the previous month, the total number of slaughtered poultry is increased by 23.8%, a net weight decreased by 19.5%, while compared to the actual monthly average in 2015, the number of slaughtered poultry decreased by (8.3%, the net weight decreased of 7.5%).
