Indices of industrial production and turnover, September 2016
Industrial production in Montenegro in September increased 1.6% compared to previous month and 4.4% compared with the same month of previous year, while decreased 1.6% compared to average monthly production from previous year and 4.2% for period January-September 2016 compared with the same period of previous year.
At the sector level, in period January- September 2016 compared to the same period of the previous year, there was decrease in production in each sector: mining and quarrying 26.1%, manufacturing 3.2% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply 2.6%.
Industrial turnover in Montenegro in September decreased 16.2% compared to previous month, 16.4% compared with the same month of previous year, 16.2% compared to average monthly turnover from previous year and 25.7% in period January- September 2016 compared to the same period of the previous year.
At the sector level, in period January- September 2016 compared to the same period of the previous year, there was a decrease of turnover in mining and quarrying 52.1% and manufacturing 20.5%.
