Number of livestock and poultry, production of milk, wool and, eggs in Montenegro in 2015

The total number of cattle in 2015 decreased by 1% compared to 2014, and the number of dairy cows also decreased by 1% in 2015. The total number of sheep decreased by 5%, while the number of goats at the total level decreased by 10%. The total number of pigs increased by 13%, and fattening pigs increased by 11%. The growth was recorded in the total number of poultry by 2%, and in the number of laying hens by 13%. Number of horses decreased by 1%.
 
Comparing 2015 with 2013, the total number of cattle shows an increase of 3.8%. The total number of sheep increased by 2%, while the number of goats increased by 0.01%. The total number of pigs increased by 21.3%. A decrease is observed in the total number of poultry by 2.3%, while an increase is the number of laying hens by 6.7%. The number of horses increased by 1.4%.
 

In 2015 compared to 2012, the total number of cattle increased by 6%. The total number of sheep decreased by 6.7%, while an increase of 25.4% is recorded in the number of goats. The number of pigs increased by 16.6%. The increase in the total number is recorded for poultry, i.e. 29%. The number of horses increased by 22.1%.
