In 2015 there were 1 719 students who finished postgraduate and doctoral studies.

 

Postgraduate studies were finished by 1 703 students, of which: specialist studies 1 466 (86.1%), and master studies 237 (13.9%). Of the total number of students, the share of females is 62.6% (1 066).

 

The increase in number of students who finished specialist studies in comparison with previous year is 4.9%.

 

From the total number of students who finished specialist studies, 1 704 or 73.3% were in public higher education institutions, while 392 or 26.7% finished private higher education institutions.

 

Master studies were finished by 237 students, which is 16.5% less than in previous 2014. From the total number of students who finished master studies, 164 or 69.2% were in public higher education institutions, while 73 or 30.8% finished private higher education institutions. Master studies were finished by 63.3% (150) female and 36.7% (87) male students.

 

Doctor of science degree in 2015 were obtained by 16 persons which presents a decrease of 20% compared to previous year. Of this number, the proportion of female students is 62.5% (10).
