Quarterly statistics of transport IV quarter 2015

Transport of passengers in the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter of the previous year increased to 7.1% for rail, road transport by 0.2%, local road for 6.9%, the carriage of passengers at airports by 4.2 %, scheduled air transport for 6.0%, non scheduled air for 1.5%, while the decrease registered  in maritime by 21.0%.  
 
The transport of goods in the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter last year decrease was recorded in the in the railway for 30.2%, the total turnover of goods in ports by 3.4%, in maritime by 9.2% and at airports 2.2%.  
 
Number of trans-shipment tonnes in the ports in the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter of the previous year decreased by 32.9% and in the manipulated tonnes by 4.4%.  Number of minutes in fixed telecommunication in the fourth quarter of 2015 compared to the same quarter of the previous year decreased by 16.9%, while minutes of mobile telephony on the same level as compared to the same quarter of the previous year.  
 
Number of injury accidents on roads in the fourth quarter 2015 totaled 1 217 which is 8.0% less than the same quarter of the last year. Number of casualies1in the fourth quarter 2015 amounted to 582 (of which 563 injuries), which is 21.5% more than the same quarter last year.  Number of registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the fourth quarter 2015 is 49 830, which is a increase of  1.9% in comparison with the same quarter of  previous year. Number of first time registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the fourth quarter 2015 is 4 255, which is a increase of 9.7% in comparison with the same quater of  previous year.
  

In the fourth quarter of 2015. road goods motor vehicles transported a 184 thousands tons of goods and performed 34 624 thousand tonne-kilometers. Kilometres travelled by loaded vehicles was 1 601 thousands kilometres. In the structure of transported goods, national transport participates with 79.3% or 146 thousands tons of goods, while international transport participates with 20.7%, or 38 thousands tons of goods. In the structure of performed tonne-kilometers internal transport participates with 35.6% or 12 317 thousands tonne-kilometers and international transport with 64.4% or 22 307 thousands tonnekilometers.
