Quarterly statistics of transport III quarter 2015

Transport of passengers in the third quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter of the previous year increased to 16.2% for rail, road transport by 0.2%, local road for 18.0%, the carriage of passengers at airports by 3.5 %, scheduled air transport for 3.3%, while the decrease registered in non scheduled air for 12.6%, and in maritime by 4.7%.
 
The transport of goods in the third quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter last year increase was recorded in the in the railway for 26.3%, the total turnover of goods in ports by 12.7% and in maritime by 16.8%, while the decrease registered in transport of goods at airports 1.6%.
 
Number of trans-shipment tonnes in the ports in the third quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter of the previous year decreased by 29.0%, while the increase registered in the manipulated tonnes by 13.3%.
 
Number of minutes in fixed telecommunication in the third quarter of 2015 compared to the same quarter of the previous year decreased by 16.1%, and in number of minutes of mobile telecommunication decreased by 0.5%.
 
Number of injury accidents on roads in the third quarter 2015 totaled 1 644 which is 4.3% less than the same quarter of the last year. Number of casualies1in the third quarter 2015 amounted to 777 (of which 764 injuries), which is 32,4% more than the same quarter last year.
 

Number of registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the third quarter 2015 is 56 905, which is a increase of 1.1% in comparison with the same quarter of previous year. Number of first time registered road motor vehicles and trailers in the third quarter 2015 is 4 162, which is a increase of 5.4% in comparison with the same quater of previous year.
