External trade of Montenegro January 2015

The total external trade of Montenegro for month January 2015 is EUR 111.8 million, indicating the growth of 5.8% in comparison with the same month of the previous year.

The value of exports of goods is EUR 26 million, what is 15% more compared to the same month of previous year, and imports are EUR 85.9 million, what is 3.3% more compared to the same month of previous year.
The coverage of import by export is 30.2%, and it is higher compared to the coverage for the same month of previous year, when it was 27.2%.

Structure of exports in accordance with the SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) the most present products are Manufactured goods classified chiefly by material – Section 6, in amount of EUR 10.9 million (consisted of: Non-ferrous metals with the amount of EUR 8.7 million, and Iron and steel with EUR 1.9 million).

The structure of imports in accordance with the classification SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) is presented mostly products of Section 0 – Food and live animals with EUR 21.8 million (consisted of: Meat and meat preparations with EUR 6.2 million, and Coffee, tea, cocoa, spices and manufactures thereof with EUR 3.4 million).

Main trading partners in exports with individual basis were: Italia (EUR 7 million), Serbia (EUR 5.6 million) and Bosnia and Hercegovina (EUR 4.1 million).

Main trading partners in imports with individual basis were: Serbia (EUR 22.4 million), Bosnia and Hercegovina (EUR 7.7 million), and China (EUR 132.7 million). The highest external trade trend was with CEFTA and EU countries.
