Tourist arrivals and overnight stays August 2014
In Montenegro, in August 2014 tourists realised 513 317 arrivals which is 2.5% more than in August 2013. The number of realised overnight stays is 3 854 301, which is 2.4% more than in August 2013. Overnight stays of foreign tourists represent 88.8% while the domestic tourists represent 11.2% of all overnight stays in August 2014.
Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in August 2014, the most of them were realised by tourists from Serbia (28.0%), Russia (25.4%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (8.5%), Ukraine (4.3%), Kosovo (3.5%), Macedonia (2.7%), Italy (2.5%), Poland (2.5%). Tourists from other countries realised 22.6% overnight stays.
Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (98.8%), in mountain resorts (0.5%), in capital city (0.4%), in other tourist resorts, and other resorts.
