In Montenegro, in January 2014 tourists realised 15 949 arrivals which is 2.9% more than in January 2013. The number of realised overnight stays is 58 193, which is 2.0% more than in January 2013. Overnight stays of foreign tourists represent 73.9% while the domestic tourists represent 26.1% of all overnight stays in January 2014.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, in January 2014, the most of them were realised by tourists from Russia (27.7%), Serbia (19.6%), Bosnia and Herzegovina (10.0%), Albania (6.6%), Italy (5.3%), Croatia (4.4%), Kosovo (3.7%), Ukraine (2.9%). Tourists from other countries realised 19.8% overnight stays.

Concerning the structure of overnight stays by type of resort, the most of them were realised in seaside resorts (67.6%), in mountain resorts (11.7%), in capital city (11.6%), in other tourist resorts and other resorts.
